Kitamura lists 36 tax-free stores. Selected stores are moving to a refund-after-purchase process. Narita began August 18, Osaka Namba City August 25, and Shinjuku Kitamura Camera September 8, 2026.

Kitamura also states that tax-free camera and lens purchases do not include its listed manufacturer, five-year, used or international warranties.
